Remember that elaboration is the key to most applications and in general, applications with only a paragraph for personality and history may be rejected for being too vague or one-dimensional. Characters -including potential champions of their schools- must have both strengths and weaknesses. No one is perfect, including the champions.

Hogwarts Students

If you would like your character to be considered for prefect and/or a past quidditch player, please include some sort of history/personality into your application about what would make them qualified for the said position (e.g. if they are smart and responsible, or enjoy flying, etc.). Please don't say they were made Prefect in your application, as those positions will be decided by the mods.

Thank you for your application. We just have a couple concerns. Mainly, we feel your PB choice looks too young, seeing as he just turned 16 and the majority of his icons/pictures would be of him in his younger years. Second, we'd like you to take out the last paragraph under history. We don't mind him being on the team, but we'd like to reserve the captain spot until we gain more players and decide among them. Also, just an fyi that captains aren't chosen by previous captains, but by their Heads of Houses.

If you can change the PB and remove that last paragraph, please let us know. Thanks!

He would work, but it depends on which icons you use. Older ones would, of course, be what we'd like and not the ones where he's only ten. :)
